The cupboard I took down has been replaced (finally!).
and somehow :)...
the white paint just kept rolling through the kitchen!
Up went some shelves.
For a day, I also had a mirror hanging above the stove.
Something about the mirror wasn't right. No one in the house really loved it.
(Feng Shui says mirrors in the kitchen create lots of cutting energy. :)
Down came the mirror and up went the clock!
(The clock has been floating about the house, looking for a home.)
The goal in taking down the cabinet had been a range hood with a fan and vent.
The goal has become a complete kitchen overhaul.
In the meantime, these two cute little shelves are holding our cereal bowls.
(Goodwill - $2.00 each + the Menard's brackets)
The green sundae cups are Dollar Tree finds.
(They make every day jello, pudding, even yogurt an instant hit with the kids!)
The bird art was also from Dollar Tree (last year).
I loved the little green (kid-made) clock - it's a good practice reminder, too!
Can you tell we're working on telling time?
It's amazing how grabbing a bowl off the shelf is
more convenient than opening a door!
May your day be extremely pleasing!
Join the fun!
WOW...that is so cute and the pic where you can see the hallway with the batten and board to perfect!!! You need to link this up at some parties!!!
ReplyDeleteThe clock above the stove is just perfect for the spot! And the two shelves are very appealing, too. Being a retired teacher, I love that you are teaching your children to tell time......that can be a difficult concept to grasp sometimes. I really like the changes you have made!!
ReplyDeleteYEAH...I saw you at some linky parties!!!! I love those green bowls and the clock face!!!! You got it going in there!!! Just had to stop in again....you know me, can't leave you alone!!!
